San Bernardino is a city in the Inland Empire in California. San Bernardino has a wide variety of recreational attractions. From playing golf at one of San Bernardino's many public and private golf courses, to a 30 to 60 minute drive to mountains, skiing, deserts, beaches, resorts, and world-class cultural and sporting events. There are many unique and wonderful restaurants to choose from.
The San Bernardino area is rich in history, much of which is preserved in local museums and historic sites. The historic California Theater in downtown San Bernardino features Broadway plays, musicals and cultural shows from the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra.
There are several events in San Bernardino, including the Route 66 Rendez-vous held in downtown San Bernardino each September, the Berdoo Bikes & Blues Rendezvous and the National Orange Show festival are both held in the Spring, and the Western Regional Little League Championships are held each August.
